JFIF uses the same JPEG compression algorithm but includes extra markers and metadata specifying the color space, resolution, and pixel aspect ratio. This additional information enhances compatibility and ensures accurate rendering across different platforms, making JFIF a widely accepted format for exchanging JPEG images
